PG Bison is looking for a knowledgeable Risk Manager who can adeptly identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure the long-term stability and success of our organization. You will play a key role in protecting the company’s assets and reputation through comprehensive risk management practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or similar qualification in a Risk or Safety related field
- 4-5 years related work experience in similar role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage & Maintain Legal Compliance on all relevant legislation where and as applicable for the geographical area of responsibility
- Manage and maintain input of operational data on the DMS system.
- Deal with all Internal & external audit issues.
- Implement proper risk management structures systems & controls.
- Project possible risk exposure in your arena of operations on a monthly Quarterly basis, with the use of scientific models where applicable to mitigate risk exposure.
- Manage risk shutdown & site closures.
- Prepare and attend to all operational legal and legislative requirements in terms of investigating, preparation of evidence, presenting of evidence as required in terms of possible legal action.
- Reduce accidents, incidents and to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
- Conduct training awareness on all aspects of legislation
