Job Title: Sales Development Representative (Business Acquisitions)

About the Role: We’re looking for a confident and proactive Sales Development Representative to join a growing UK-based company focused on business acquisitions. You’ll be the first point of contact with potential acquisition targets, responsible for opening doors and building strong initial rapport that leads to booked appointments for the Head of Acquisitions.
This is a people-first sales role – no hard closing, no aggressive tactics. You’ll be engaging with executives and business owners, using a mix of platforms including cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and handwritten letters to spark interest and build relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calling, LinkedIn, emails, and direct mail
- Engage executive-level decision makers with professionalism and charisma
- Clearly communicate the company’s vision and acquisition objectives
- Build rapport and nurture leads with a relationship-first approach
- Book qualified appointments and meetings for the Head of Acquisitions
- Use HubSpot to manage leads, track progress, and ensure follow-ups are timely and methodical
- Collaborate with internal teams to stay aligned with messaging and prospecting goals
- Maintain accurate records of all outreach and lead interactions
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in cold calling and lead generation
- Natural relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Comfortable handling objections and rejection professionally
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-up and lead management
- Tech-savvy and confident using tools like HubSpot and LinkedIn
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to hold professional conversations with senior-level executives
- An understanding of the UK lettings or property sector is a plus, but not essential
