Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Lead to provide end-to-end leadership to our Pharmacy sales and merchandising team, as well as our mass market team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sustainable profitable growth through the execution of sales strategies and excellence in trade initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Provide comprehensive leadership to the Pharmacy sales and merchandising team and the mass market team.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the teams.
Reporting and Forecasting:
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to management on market conditions, customer needs, and sales performance by distributor and by country.
- Utilize data to inform strategic decisions and improve sales outcomes.
Distributor Management:
- Manage distributors in various markets to deliver consumption-driven sales in accordance with the business plan.
- Develop and implement effective route-to-market plans.
Sales Strategy Execution:
- Drive sustainable profitable growth through the execution of sales strategies.
- Ensure alignment with overall business objectives and market opportunities.
Budget Management:
- Support sales delivery for all channels with adequate discount budget management.
- Pay special attention to the effectiveness and control over budgets.
Trade Initiatives Execution:
- Ensure excellence in the execution of trade initiatives.
- Deliver main KPIs, with the ultimate success measure being the growth of recommendation and market share of key brands, and achieving overall customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and budget management.
