Job Purpose:
To support the sales team by assisting with lead generation, client engagement, market research, data management, and administrative tasks. The role contributes to the smooth execution of sales campaigns and enhances operational efficiency through effective use of technology.
This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Client Engagement: Assist with cold calling, scheduling client meetings, and following up on leads to support business development.
- Market Research: Conduct online research to gather insights on clients, competitors, and industry trends to inform sales strategies.
- Data Management: Accurately input and update client and sales information in Excel and CRM systems to maintain organized records.
- Administrative Support: Prepare reports, presentations, and professional emails, and handle general administrative tasks to support the sales team.
- Campaign Support: Contribute to planning, tracking, and reporting on sales campaigns and team activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Technology Utilization: Leverage planning tools, AI software, and office systems to streamline tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
Education:
- Recent graduate with a National Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering.
Experience:
- Experience in Contact Centre, Sales or Sales Administration (advantageous).
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and professional correspondence.
- Basic organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Comfortable using digital tools, including AI-based platforms and office software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team while also managing tasks independently.
- Basic understanding of sales processes or a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with online research techniques to gather relevant information.
- Awareness of data entry principles to ensure accuracy and Excel tasks.
