Sales Manager Opportunity - Rigging & Heavy Lifting Expertise
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop, implement, and manage strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities within the rigging, lifting, and heavy equipment sectors.
- Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies where necessary.
2. Business Development
- Proactively identify and engage new clients, expanding the company’s market share in rigging and related industries.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, from initial contact to deal closure.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Use CRM software to manage and track all client interactions, ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-ups.
- Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, acting as the main point of contact for key accounts.
4. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve sales targets.
- Provide training on CRM usage, sales techniques, and industry knowledge.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, offering constructive feedback and support for professional growth.
5. Sales Operations & Reporting
- Ensure CRM system is fully utilized for sales tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed sales reports and present them to senior management.
6. Industry & Product Knowledge
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of rigging equipment, lifting solutions, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and client meetings to represent the company professionally.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sales management role within the rigging, lifting, construction, or heavy machinery industry.
- Proven experience in successfully implementing and managing CRM systems
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- A results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
