We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Sales Representatives to join a Food Service Division in KZN, JHB and CT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with restaurants, hotels, canteens, and other food service businesses to provide high-quality products, including dry goods, frozen goods, cleaning materials, and packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition & Retention:

Identify, target, and onboard new clients within the food service industry.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
Sales Execution:
-
Conduct regular sales calls and site visits to showcase our product offerings.

Present tailored solutions to meet customer needs and address any challenges.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve mutual satisfaction.
Product Knowledge:

Stay up-to-date with the full range of products (dry goods, frozen goods, cleaning materials, packaging, etc.).
- Provide customers with insights into product usage, benefits, and best practices.
Market Research & Analysis:

Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to management to adapt strategies and improve offerings.
Order Management:

Process and follow up on customer orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Liaise with internal teams (warehouse, logistics, etc.) to guarantee high service levels.
Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Matric (Grade 12) required; a diploma or degree in sales, business, or a related field is an advantage.
Experience:

Proven track record in sales, preferably within the food service, hospitality, or FMCG industry.
- Familiarity with food service products (dry goods, frozen goods, cleaning materials, packaging) is a strong advantage.
Skills:

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
Other Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
