What will you be doing?
We are seeking a driven and strategic sales hunter. Highlights include:
  • Responsible for prospecting and identifying new business opportunities in South Africa. Own the full sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—in collaboration with product, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure alignment on client needs and deal strategy.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand the operational models, pain points, and regulatory environments of both existing and prospective clients.
  • Build and nurture trust-based relationships with decision-makers and influencers across financial institutions, fintechs, and corporates.
  • Leverage lead groups, referrals, and industry contacts to expand reach and uncover new opportunities.
  • Apply strategic analysis of current clients and ideal customer profiles to target new logos and untapped markets.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring consistent progression through each stage of the sales funnel.
  • Align DI&F solutions with client-specific challenges, demonstrating ROI and strategic value.
  • Navigate complex buying centres, building consensus among stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations that clearly articulate the benefits and differentiators of DI&F offerings.
  • Proactively cross-sell complementary services to existing clients, increasing wallet share and solution adoption.
  • Use data and insights to anticipate emerging client requirements and position relevant solutions.
  • Participate in DI&F events, webinars, and campaigns to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
  • Utilise whitepapers, industry trends, and regulatory updates to engage clients and drive meaningful conversations.
  • Use Salesforce to maintain accurate forecasts, track activities, and report on pipeline health.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities and market dynamics.
  • Be a collaborative team player, building strong relationships with your team and across the wider sales community

Who are we looking for?
  • You have knowledge and sales experience within Digital, Identity, and Fraud, ideally gained at data/software providers.
  • You have a proven track record of success in new business, quota-carrying roles.
  • You have a keen interest in the fraud and payments sector, with an awareness of market developments and the latest trends.
  • Ideally, you have experience using Salesforce and are comfortable leveraging it daily to manage your pipeline and activities.
  • You possess excellent prospecting and communication skills, including cold calling and LinkedIn outreach.
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to influence, operate independently, and drive results.
  • You are skilled at building and nurturing relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • You demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • You are a collaborative team player who contributes positively to team culture and shared goals.
  • You are committed to continuous learning and professional development, staying up to date with industry best practices.
