Job Purpose
To provide administrative support within legislation and regulations to the sales team in order to achieve sales targets and make Nedbank a great place to bank
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and build relationships with clients by providing feedback to complaints and enquiries.
- Provide quality service to clients by following Nedbank values such as honesty; integrity; accountability; respect and pushing beyond boundaries when dealing with clients .
- Conduct an age analysis for all policies to check for unpaid premiums; premiums due or refunds in order to avoid financial losses.
- Request all commission statements and send them to the commissions department.
- Ensure operational effectiveness to minimise losses by following all business processes and procedures.
- Support the achievement of the business strategy; objectives and values and ensuring delivered systems; process; services; products and solutions standards are adhered to.
- Compile and generate sales statistics and reports within required timelines.
- Support the sales team to achieve targets by providing the required administrative support.
- Manage internal processes and the reduction of business risk by complying with the risk standards in place.
- Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc).
- Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives for the achievement of key business strategies.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes; systems and policies and support implementation of new processes; policies and systems.
- Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management.
- Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe.
- Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impacts on role by reading the relevant newsletters; websites and attending sessions.
- Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team and stakeholders.
- Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers.
- Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities by ensuring all learning activities are completed; experience practiced and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified time frames.
- Ensure information is provided correctly to stakeholders by maintaining knowledge sharing knowledge with team.
Minimum Experience Level
2 - 5 years banking and/or short term insurance experience, with proven administration experience
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Preferred Qualification
Higher Certificate: Insurance , Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
