Your work involves conducting research, analysing data, and interpreting economic trends to help clients make informed decisions on various aspects such as financial strategies, market dynamics, policy implications, and resource allocation. Working in this area, you will be responsible for providing valuable insights into economic conditions, helping clients navigate challenges, optimise performance, and achieve their goals in a dynamic and ever-changing economic landscape.

PwC SATIC is looking for well-rounded individuals with excellent technical, presentation and people skills to join our growing team. As an Associate, you will be leveraging your economic and analytical experience to:
Develop cost-benefit analysis and business cases in line with Green Book principles, supported by strategic analysis and theories of change/logic models
Design and deliver evaluations in line with the Magenta Book
Conduct in-depth economic modelling and research to provide insights and actionable recommendations for a wide variety of client challenges
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, applying your expertise to a wide range of projects, sectors and questions
Assist in drafting high-quality reports, proposals, and presentations that communicate economic concepts in a clear and concise manner
Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client meetings
Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
Stay updated with economic policies, trends, and regulatory changes within relevant sectors
Requirements:
A degree in Economics or a related field; a postgraduate degree is desirable
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience as an economist, ideally gained in the public sector or at another consultancy
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in econometric tools and statistical software (e.g., STATA, R, Python, or similar)
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proven ability to synthesise complex information
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting findings to diverse audiences
Ability to work effectively in teams across multiple projects under tight deadlines
