At NTT DATA, as a Security Managed Services Engineer L4, your role will be crucial in creating and maintaining the security infrastructure for our clients. You will take the lead in designing, implementing, and managing complex security solutions. Your extensive expertise in security technologies and managed services will guide the team, ensuring that the most sophisticated and technical support is provided.
Each day, you'll collaborate with clients and internal teams to lead the design and architecture of managed security solutions tailored to unique requirements and business objectives. Overseeing the configuration and deployment of these solutions, you'll ensure that they adhere to industry standards and best practices. Your proactive approach will help identify and resolve issues, optimizing the performance of clients' security infrastructures.
You'll serve as a go-to expert for troubleshooting and resolving highly complex security incidents. Your role includes developing and maintaining technical documentation, creating automation scripts to streamline security operations, and driving continuous innovation. Whether it's implementing disaster recovery functions, managing projects, or extending support, your contribution will be vital in enhancing our clients' security posture.
Your leadership and subject matter expertise mean you'll provide guidance not only to your team of engineers but also to cross-functional teams. You'll play a significant role in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and DATA protection standards, fostering a secure and resilient environment.
Work with client business teams to understand business problems/requirements and provide relevant solutions in security area.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:
- In-depth knowledge of security technologies and managed services concepts.
- Proficiency in security monitoring and management tools for performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Scripting proficiency in languages such as Python, Perl, or ruby, and experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Extensive experience handling complex security infrastructure in a managed services environment.
- Experience working on multiple large global enterprise client outsourcing projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify complex security issues and choose optimal solutions.
- Strong leadership skills and effective communication to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Project management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing or demonstrated work experience.
