We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AV Technician with proven expertise in LED wall installation to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, setup, installation, and maintenance of LED video walls and other AV systems for live events, corporate functions, and permanent installations. This is a senior-level position requiring both technical proficiency and leadership in guiding junior technicians on-site. Key Responsibilities: Lead the installation, configuration, and testing of LED walls and associated AV equipment. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and site plans to ensure accurate setup. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently during events and installations. Manage and mentor a team of technicians, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Liaise with project managers, clients, and venue staff to deliver seamless AV experiences. Maintain and service AV equipment, ensuring readiness for future projects. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during setup and operation. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in AV installations, with a strong focus on LED wall technology. In-depth knowledge of LED processors, controllers, video signal flow, and related hardware/software. Experience in live event AV production and permanent AV installations. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Valid driver’s license (essential). Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications (Advantageous): Tertiary qualification in Audio-Visual Technology, Electronics, or related field. Experience with rigging, trussing, and staging equipment.
