SENIOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Join our Johannesburg team as a Senior Field Service Technician in the downstream petroleum sector, reporting to the Technical Service Manager of Energy.
Our Technicians dedicate their time to servicing our customers within the Energy sector on a 24/7 basis and requirements include assembly, maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and support with new projects.
The Opportunity ... :Key Responsiblities but not limited to:
- Assist with installations of electronics for tanker systems.
- Ensure wiring is correct as per drawings for the various installation, prior to delivery of the system.
- Assisting customers with training and commission of flow computers.
- Relook installations to ensure effective use of time and productions runs to plan.
- Assist customers with breakdowns and fault finding.
- Do ad hoc maintenance to the JBT buildings and premises.
- Qalified millwright with appropriate qualifications and certificates.
- 2 to 4 Years working experience as a qualified fitter/millwright.
- Proven mechanical, computer and electrical understanding.
- High level of dedication to safety and quality.
- Ability to work with mathematicial concepts.
- Analytical ability.
- Passion to deliver results on our customers' needs.
