In the role of Senior Travel Consultant - Inbound Groups, you will play a crucial role in understanding and fulfilling our customers' needs by designing, proposing, and securing large, high-value, or complex group travel arrangements.
As a Senior Travel Consultant - Inbound Groups, you will:
- Design and prepare innovative and competitive group travel proposals for our customers.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to produce customized, curated itineraries and proposals.
- Work closely with the Sales and Group Operations teams to convert opportunities into successful bookings.
- Ensure that every confirmed proposal is handed over to Group Operations efficiently and promptly.
- Stay updated with market trends to bring fresh, creative ideas to our proposals.

Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Extensive Experience: Proven experience in inbound group travel proposals (minimum of 5 years).
- In-depth Knowledge of Southern Africa: Strong familiarity with destinations, travel products, and services in South and Southern Africa is essential.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Necessary for effectively interacting with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate favourable rates and services, with strong influencing skills.
- Organizational Skills: A strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage high volumes of requests, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously.
