What you will be doing:
- Creating ASP.NET web applications - design, build, and maintain.
- Work together with different teams to figure out what's needed and turn those ideas into tech solutions.
- Write code that's clear, easy to scale, and simple to maintain.
- Use the best ways to develop software, including unit testing and code reviews.
- Find and fix any tech problems that come up.
- Keep learning about new technologies and what's happening in the industry.
What our client is looking for:
- It'd be great if you had a relevant tertiary qualification
- Around 7 years experience developing web apps using ASP.NET, including C#, .NET Framework, and similar tech.
- A strong problem-solver and analytical thinker.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Bonus points for:
- Knowing your way around jQuery and front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience with relational databases like SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with ORM tools, especially Entity Framework.
- Knowing about Continuous Integration and using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with code repository management and version control systems like Git or SVN.
Work Type:
- The company offers a mix of office and remote work - you'd only need to be in the office 3 days a week, and the rest can be done remotely. You are welcome to come in daily if you prefer
