Job Description
To develop, apply and enhance specialist techniques and mathematical / statistical models, such as time series forecasting, regression analysis and multivariate statistics, to evaluate past and current financial performance, forecast trends, identify opportunities, anticipate risks and enable effective decision-making for Standard Bank Group. Optimise forecasting and scenario analysis capabilities and collaborate with Finance technology to define and build the required technical architecture.

Finance & Value Management
8-10 years Experience with applying statistical techniques to solve business problems.
Experience with MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required. Experience with programming languages such as Python, DAX or similar required. Experience with R would be beneficial. Practical experience in enterprise wide or business unit specific risk model development. Experiences with applying statistical techniques such as regression, ANOVA, cluster analysis, factor analysis, time series forecasting.
