Job Summary:
The Store Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and staff performance. They assist the Operations Manager in training employees, managing shifts, and resolving customer concerns to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor food presentation and service quality.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and supply orders as needed.
2. Staff Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) staff.
- Delegate tasks and ensure staff adhere to restaurant protocols.
- Provide constructive feedback and support employee development.
3. Customer Service Excellence:
- Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure guests receive a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Monitor dining areas to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
4. Financial & Administrative Duties:
- Assist in POS transactions, and daily sales reporting.
5. Team Leadership & Communication:
- Foster a positive work environment and motivate staff.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate updates and goals.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service.
6. Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2+ years in restaurant operations, in a supervisory role.
- **Education:Grade 12 Certificate required; hospitality or culinary training a plus.
7. Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant software (POS systems).
- Flexibility:Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
