Job description
We are looking for a dynamic Food Technologist / Food Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a team player who will thrive in our exciting and fast paced environment. They will provide technical support to our NPD team where they will assist with new product launches and range management through quality control, artwork approval and all other technical competencies that are required to ensure brand integrity and food safety. They will also work closely with our international and local supply base and customers.
Technical Competencies:
- Minimum requirement- diploma in Food Technology / Food Science
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Relevant retail industry understanding
- Computer literate MS Office
- Good understanding of technical processes and principles
- Experience with South African labelling legislation and artwork sign off will be advantageous
- Quality / High standard mind set
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and strong ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Good interpersonal skills
- Office based position
Salary:
R22 – 25k CTC
