As a knowledgeable Textile Technologist, you possess more than technical skills. The excellent instinct for fabrics that you’ve developed throughout your career, combined with your commitment to brilliance, will contribute to how we exceed our customers’ expectations.
The precision- and practicality-obsessed Textile Technologist who joins our Product Development team will be required to:
- Source, evaluate and approve the best fabrics for new garments and updates on existing designs.
- Leverage your instincts for fabric performance to guide its application across multiple garments and ranges.
- Develop trim specifications and collaborate with suppliers to ensure samples comply with our exacting requirements.
- Test and analyse textiles and trims to ensure they meet our strict standards of strength and performance.
- Investigate and troubleshoot fabric-related issues during production, and propose actionable solutions.
- Develop, implement and conduct testing protocols that continually enhance fabric performance.
- Stay up to date on textile innovations and sustainability practices, and apply insights to enhance our ranges.
- Collaborate with Operations teams to source trims and textiles, negotiate lead times, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
