Role Overview
As a Budtender at The Spot, you’ll be the face of our dispensary, guiding customers through our range of cannabis products with expert knowledge, professionalism, and friendly vibes. You'll help customers discover the best products for their needs while ensuring a welcoming and compliant retail experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide an elevated, professional customer experience.
- Educate customers on cannabis strains, products, effects, and proper usage
- Assist customers with product selection based on their preferences or needs
- Handle sales transactions accurately and operate the POS system
- Maintain store cleanliness, restock displays, and manage inventory levels
- Follow all legal compliance regulations around cannabis retail sales
- Work collaboratively with barbershop and dispensary team members
- Requirements
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Cannabis knowledge is a strong advantage (training provided if needed)
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- High attention to detail and a responsible work ethic
