Warehouse Operator

The Warehouse Operator reports to the Warehouse Leader. The purpose of this position is to timely and accurately execute movement and storage of goods and materials in the receiving/shipping area and the warehouse, in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manages and is responsible for the correct allocation of raw material and finished products in the warehouse
• Loads and unloads trucks, verifying the integrity and related documentation (orders, delivery notes, etc.) of incoming and outgoing goods
• Collects and sorts general waste
• Keeps warehouse and forklift passage ways clear and safe
• Unloads and moves equipment and tools inside and outside the plant as requested, using manual and/or electrical forklifts
• Supports packing operators in supplying and collecting materials to/from the production lines
Works in line with correct workplace hygiene and safety practices

Technical Skills:

• Ability to operate manual and electric forklifts
• Basic applied knowledge of WCM standards
• Basic knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment rules and practices

Education and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse or production area of a manufacturing company
