This position will be based at our Coastal Meat Distribution Centre and will report directly to the Production Manager.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will be responsible for cutting meat products to quality standards according to the production plans.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12/Matric
- Grade 2 Meat Cutting Certificate
- Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts.
PERSON SPEC:
- Must be Willing to work Retail Hours, i.e.: Saturdays/Public Holidays
- Good Communications skills on all levels
- High energy levels & a passion for retail is essential.
- Honest
- Attention to detail.
- Time management
- 6-Day work week
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to use hand tools, stand or walk for extending periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments.
- Must be able to work under pressure and fill orders to specification
- Performance driven and well organized.
