Our Distribution Management team is relentless in the pursuit of excellence, ensuring AGCO delivers the best products and services in the industry in the most efficient way. We are currently seeking a Business Analyst for our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the network transformation and performance goals for the region, through the development of market analytics and the implementation of initiatives and projects to the dealer network. The role will provide both remote and 'in-field' support, and face-to-face meetings with dealers. It also requires collaboration across functions i.e. sales teams, product marketing, parts, service, finance, etc.
Your Impact
- Develop and provide market intelligence and maintain all relevant KPI data required for the dealer performance reviews on the distribution landscape, supporting the local Distribution Management team, including maintenance of dealer territories and corresponding maps.
- Support strategic marketing and brand governance with local fact-based market data on the cluster.
- Provide brands with brand-specific local data related to distribution and market shares, broken down by market segments.
- Manage and maintain dealer data and access levels on the Master Data Governance (MDG).
- Support the Distribution Manager with dealer contracts and contract data, for AGCO’s core brands in the cluster via the Contract Management System.
- Support the Distribution Management Cluster lead and Distribution Managers with all data-related matters.
- Support with the annual and quarterly dealer reviews, documentation, and agreed action plans.
- Support with the implementation of core initiatives/projects in the region, as well as the administrative and operational tasks.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Autonomous, well-structured, and diligent work standard
- Experience in agricultural industry
- Knowledge of AGCO dealer landscape
- A good background and experience in information management
- IT systems knowledge (MS Office)
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- The ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and shows a strong ability to prioritize tasks
- A basic knowledge/understanding of the regulations and legislation of data protection.
