Job Description
As a Call Centre Sales Person, you will be responsible for engaging with South African clients over the phone to promote and sell our exciting range of holiday products. You’ll work during standard South African business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM SAST) and half-day shifts on Saturdays (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM SAST).
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective clients to pitch holiday products.
- Build rapport with clients, understand their travel needs, and recommend suitable holiday packages.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective communication and closing techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales in our CRM system.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Stay updated on holiday product offerings and promotions to provide accurate information.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience, preferably in a call centre or telesales environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional South African languages like Afrikaans, Zulu, or Xhosa are a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Comfortable working standard South African business hours and half-days on Saturdays.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software.
- Passion for travel and enthusiasm for selling holiday experiences.
- South African citizenship or valid work permit.
