This position is a Grade: 7 - 37.5 with an approximate salary range of $36,640 - $43,980 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assists with the preparation and production of complex documentation, such as course line schedules, graduate/undergraduate student forms, grant proposals, and partnership agreements.
• Assists in the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding department operations; generates reports as specified such as tracking faculty actions, undergrad/grad student progress and majors/minors, catalog updates, Course Inventory Management (CIM), etc.
• Responds to varied and often complex inquiries from students, faculty, and staff requiring a basic understanding of University and departmental programs, services, policies, and procedures.
• Schedules and coordinates appointments, visits, and/or meetings.
• May work with Lehigh’s financial systems and tools to compute, classify, record, and verify data for departmental accounting records; identifies discrepancies for supervisor.
• Assist with submitting hiring set-up and request forms/payroll forms/AP check requests/deposit transmittals/funding transfer forms/etc. for department/program.
• Order and maintain office supplies, books, computers and equipment.
• Arrange for office equipment purchases/contracts/repairs/service.
• Provide administrative support for general office operations such as receptionist tasks – meet, greet and assist visitors, take phone calls and messages, retrieve/send and organize mail, schedule meetings and update calendars.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three to five years of related work experience; Less experienced applicants may be considered if accompanied by higher, relevant education and/or desired skills
• Strong computer skills with experience using word processing, spreadsheet software, google mail and calendaring systems
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a high level of customer service required
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
