Position Description


We are looking for a Customer Care and Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at QIAGEN SA in Johannesburg (this is a hybrid role). This is a dynamic role that bridges customer support and supply chain management, ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, responsive, and solutions-driven.

Key responsabilities:

  • Addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing accurate and timely information.
  • Overseeing and procuring materials, managing order prices and quantities.
  • Receiving shipments and organizing inventories.
  • Forecasting demand, responding to changes in demand, and resolving supply chain issues.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement. Experience in customer service or a related field is often preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in customer service software, problem-solving abilities, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in supply chain software, SAP, SFDC, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Advanced level of English, both spoken and written.
