We're seeking a dynamic, adaptable individual to join our Russian School of Ballet family as the right hand to our Director. This central role combines studio operations management with personal assistance in our vibrant, fast-paced dance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Operations:
- Manage email communications, create announcements, and coordinate studio communications
- Oversee student onboarding and enrolment processes in collaboration with our Enrolments Coordinator
- Maintain accurate student records and contact databases across all studio systems
- Coordinate with teachers, receptionists, and Director to ensure seamless daily operations
- Manage studio inventory, including uniforms, merchandise, and supplies ordering
- Compile weekly and monthly operational reports and metrics
- Update and maintain business systems for efficiency and compliance
Community & Events:
- Foster strong relationships with students and parents, contributing to our welcoming RSB community
- Provide hands-on support for all studio concerts, photoshoots, and special events
- Assist the Director with both professional tasks and personal errands as needed
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with studio phone responsibility (weekdays 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Mandatory attendance at all concerts, events, and photoshoots (typically evenings/weekends)
- Holiday leave restricted to annual closure period (mid-December to mid-January only)
- Reliable vehicle required for errands and off-site assistance
Essential Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of handling detailed reporting and data tasks.
- Proficiency with technology and ability to quickly adapt to and work within new software platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and staff
- Excellent organisational abilities with superior time management and prioritization skills
- High level of adaptability, initiative, and problem-solving capabilities
- Valid driver's license with reliable personal transportation
