Requirements

• Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification, a relevant B.Tech/

B Degree would be advantageous

• 8 years relevant experience
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• Proven supervisory skills
• A valid Code 08 driver’s licence.

Key Performance Areas

• Depot and Worksite Management: Co-ordinates tasks /

activities associated with the implementation of procedures,

including monitoring and reporting.

• Resource Planning and Control: Plans prioritises and

schedules Project, Maintenance and Refurbishment work

for the Portfolio.

• Monitors and evaluates progress with regards to repair,

construction, installation and maintenance type work for

the Portfolio.

• Financial Management: Developing and managing

comprehensive budgets aligned with the Departments

goals and objectives.

• Supervision and Control: Co-ordinates and controls tasks/

activities associated with controlling Personnel Performance

and productivity.

• Tender and Contract Management: Management and

Administration of contracts, tenders and Service Level

Agreements, including performing BSC and BEC functions.

• Performs specific administrative tasks/ activities associated

with the updating and maintaining records / information

related to the activities/ operations, including Project and

Refurbishment work within the Portfolio.

• Assuming responsibility for the management of all immovable

and movable assets within area of control of the Portfolio.
