We're looking for someone with a passion for creating engaging, striking and intuitive experiences across the digital design realm; from a social post or ad through to infographics, landing pages and other web or mobile assets.

👩🎨 What You'll Be Doing:
Design digital assets including social media posts, ads, presentations, infographics, and web content
Support campaign and content design across multiple channels and platforms
Collaborate closely with marketing strategists, copywriters, inbound marketers and developers
Translate brand guidelines into cohesive, thumb-stopping digital visuals
Create templates and reusable assets for internal and client-facing use
Explore AI-powered design tools and techniques to increase efficiency and innovation
Work with platforms like Canva and Figma to build scalable design systems and templates
🎯 Essential Duties
♟️ Strategic
Translate positioning, research & marketing strategies into effective designs.
Make use of critical design thinking skills to make informed & thoughtful decisions to create effective and innovative designs that meet the needs and goals of the target audience.
Make use of user-centred design skills to ensure your work is informed by the needs and experience of the people who'll be using the designs.
Research and innovation: stay up-to-date on emerging design trends, technologies and industry best practices, and collaborate with other team members to incorporate innovative design elements into projects to maintain a competitive edge.
Quality assurance: conduct quality assurance checks on design deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality of work.
Design reviews: collaborate in design reviews and provide and take constructive feedback to ensure high-quality design deliverables that meet project requirements.
Improve processes: review and refine the current design processes collaboratively to ensure high quality projects and timely delivery.
♟️ Day-to-day
Conduct industry, competitor and brand research for Flint and for clients’ design requirements.
Liaise and collaborate with project/account managers on design briefs.
Attend project kick off briefings to understand the scope and requirements.
Contribute to creative brainstorm sessions to share ideas for projects.
Leverage AI design tools and generative AI tools to enhance workflow, efficiencies, ideation and innovation.
Web & App Related
Produce sketches, site maps & wireframes for websites or apps.
Create moodboards, mock-ups, UI kits & interactive prototypes as part of interface design.
Generate visual assets for websites, web apps & mobile apps such as banners, in-content imagery, product images, basic animations/videos etc.
Design and build landing pages in Unbounce and ActiveCampaign.
Inbound Marketing
Collaborate with the team to produce engaging visual assets for internal & client’s social media content calendars and social media accounts/profiles.
Produce assets for paid and organic campaigns including overarching key visuals, social posts, ad banners or visuals, video or animated content, and web banners.
Create high value content pieces such as infographics, ebooks, digital publication layouts and other interactive pieces (Typeform quizzes, etc).
Design and build email templates & email campaigns in Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign, or similar.
Animation/Motion Graphic
Source references, and create and design visual references for animation projects.
Create and design storyboards aligned with the approved script.
Prepare assets to share with the animator(s).
🔧 Required Skills
Proficient experience with user interface design patterns, sitemaps, wireframes etc for web and app interfaces
Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Cloud - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Media Encoder, XD, (or similar).
Advanced experience with Figma for UI design.
Strong experience designing in Canva or similar tools, including template creation.
Knowledge or practical experience using AI tools for creative ideation or execution (e.g. Midjourney, Adobe Firefly etc)
In-depth understanding of design principles and fundamentals, usability and user-centred design
In-depth understanding of the digital landscape including inbound marketing, social media, advertising, email, responsive web design, etc.
Creative thinker, strong conceptual thinking skills
Keen eye for aesthetics and visually appealing content
Able to clearly present design ideas and concepts for projects and campaigns
Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree, diploma or certificate in relevant fields
Experience: 3-5 years or more of industry related experience, agency experience is a plus!
