We are seeking an experienced DYEHOUSE MANAGER to oversee the full operations of our Dyehouse, including the Laboratory.
The successful Candidate will be responsible for ensuring high efficiency, quality, and compliance, at the lowest possible cost, while leading a team of Operators and Technicians.
This Role is an EE-aligned Position and open to such Applications.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / B.Tech in Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, Textile Engineering, or equivalent Dye Processing Qualification.
- 5 years’ Managerial experience in a Textile Dyehouse.
- Strong technical expertise in dyeing and finishing processes (fabrics, yarns, chemicals, polyester dyeing, VAT/reactive colours, fine knits).
- Knowledge of Dyehouse equipment, machinery, and wastewater treatment.
- Proficiency in production scheduling and workforce planning.
- Knowledge of Orgatex (advantageous).
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Must be of sober habits (due to standby requirements), and willing to work overtime, weekends, and on Public Holidays (with reasonable notice).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily Dyehouse and Laboratory operations.
- Oversee all dyeing processes, including scheduling, recipe formulation, shade matching, machine utilisation, and finishing.
- Develop, test, and standardise dye recipes.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of Operators and Technicians.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental regulations, and SOPs.
- Achieve production targets and maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve technical challenges.
