Job Title: Account Director
- Accountability of all aspects of TBWA relationships across the account and working closely with the Business Lead
- Takes accountability for growing revenue and generating new business by growing existing accounts and developing new ones
- Leads teams of Account Executives across client portfolio managing, delegating, supervising, coaching and enhancing team capabilities
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain senior-level client relationships, driving strategic growth and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Client Service to develop and implement strategic direction, aligning with client objectives.
- Direct and manage the delivery of high-quality creative work, ensuring timely and cost-effective results for a diverse client portfolio.
Business Development
- Research, develop, and present new business proposals focused on driving sales revenue through cross-selling and new business acquisition.
- Identify business opportunities in new markets and countries.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and manage teams of Account Executives, providing final sign-off on agency outputs and ensuring client standards are met.
- Demonstrate high-caliber integrated advertising work, with expertise in online, social media, direct, and digital marketing.
- Motivate, develop, and manage group account staff, identifying training needs and delegating effectively.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure clear and accurate briefs from clients, identifying potential issues and leading teams to find solutions.
- Understand and maintain quality standards, project effectiveness metrics, and financial targets.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with agency procedures.
Financial Management
- Ensure accurate costing, optimise profitability margins, and monitor actual costs and performance versus budgets.
- Develop accurate business forecasts and manage quarterly financial targets.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an advertising agency, with a proven track record in Fast Food/Restaurant brand management.
- Strong understanding of marketing and advertising agency operations
- Proven experience in managing projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget requirements.
- Working knowledge of various communication channels, including: Advertising media, digital media, e-marketing, mobile marketing, In-store promotions, events, direct and data marketing, online platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube).
