Job Title: Store Manager
Tasks and duties will include, but are not limited to:
· Store reports to OPS manager & MD
· Focus of the day is identify, communicate and follow up on daily problem areas
· Sales and margin analysing
· Waste, markdown and shrinkage analysis
· Analyse daily ranking report and identify problem areas
· Manage expenses versus budget
· Quality control of all stock
· Manage stock levels and ensure orders are placed timeously
· Promotions are honoured in press, guild and TV adverts
· Pricing integrity of all products in-store
· Ensure full range of products are available on the shelf
· Ensure all cash is balanced and deposited securely on a daily basis
· Perform spot checks at Receiving area
· Maintain a professional store image by ensuring staff adhere to dress code standards, signage is clear and up-to-date, housekeeping is consistently high, and customer service is exceptional
· Ensure all equipment, building facilities, and store assets are properly maintained and in good working order.
· Maintain ongoing, effective communication with staff, customers, buyers, the distribution centre (DC), and suppliers
· Ensure all staff consistently adhere to store rules, policies, and procedures
· Proactively plan and prepare for upcoming events to ensure smooth execution.
· Ensure timely follow-up on all instructions and directives, and outstanding tasks.
· Provide clear, focused guidance and leadership to line managers and staff.
· Maintain a visible presence and stay attentive to the needs of both customers and staff.
· 6- 5- 3 rules are followed
· Be actively present on the sales floor during peak business hours
· Logistical planning for all collections and deliveries
· General bulk yard management
· Review Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) daily for accuracy.
· Drive total customer satisfaction through the in-store customer satisfaction program
· Store representation at company functions & attending training courses.

· Valid RSA driver license
· Be reliable, punctual, organised, meticulous and well presented
· Have a great attitude and strong work ethic
· Be capable and confident in your ability
· Have good interpersonal skills with excellent customer relations
· Strong leadership and organizational skills
