General Retail Operations Manager
A General Operational Manager in a bedding retail company is responsible for overseeing daily operations across multiple branches to ensure efficiency, profitability, and excellent customer service. You are required to oversee and monitor our 4 branches that are in DBN, JHB & CPT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Efficiency: Manage day-to-day operations of 4 branches for smooth functioning.
- Staff Management: Supervise, train, and evaluate store staff across branches.
- Inventory and Sales Management: Coordinate inventory with suppliers, monitor sales and profitability.
- Policy Implementation: Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Requirements and Skills:
- Education: Relevant diploma or degree in business administration, operations management, or related field.
- Experience: Experience in retail management, preferably in bedding or furniture.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Specifics for Overseeing 4 Branches:
- Multi-Branch Management: Oversee operations, staff, and sales across 4 branches.
- Consistency and Standards: Ensure consistency in operations, customer service, and sales across all branches.
- Reporting and Analysis: Review performance reports and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Additional Responsibilities:
You may be required to perform other responsibilities/duties that do not form part of the above responsibilities/duties from time to time as instructed by Operations Manager.
