NIVA Health, a growing U.S.-based wellness and wound care company, is looking for a Remote Healthcare Data Coordinator to support our patient intake and appointment scheduling operations. You'll be at the heart of our backend systems—making sure patient information, insurance details, and appointments are 100% accurate and aligned across platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Review and manage patient and lead data in our healthcare CRM and Athena systems.
- Process insurance submissions and verify benefits (VOB).
- Audit appointment records and update statuses as needed.
- Create and maintain accurate patient profiles for booked and self-booked appointments.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth scheduling and follow-up coordination.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in data entry, healthcare admin, or backend operations.
- Familiarity with healthcare tools like Athena and CRM systems is a big plus.
- Strong attention to detail—you’ll be working with sensitive patient and insurance info.A solid grasp of medical terminology and insurance basics (or the ability to learn fast).
- Excellent written English and professional communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
This Is a Remote Role—But Not an Isolated One:
You’ll be supported, trained, and looped in through regular video calls and check-ins. Expect clear guidelines, helpful teammates, and a flexible work culture.
Location Requirement: This position is open to candidates based in South Africa only.
