Safripol, a leading polymer manufacturer committed to operational excellence and safety, is looking for a driven and disciplined ISC Technician - Site Logistics Technician to join our Site Operations team. This role is responsible for operating packaging equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring product quality while supporting the achievement of business and unit performance goals.
Purpose of the Role
To operate assigned bagging and packaging equipment within the Site Logistics unit, executing daily packaging activities in line with safety, quality and productivity standards.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Mathematics and Science essential)
- Practical experience within a Blending & Packaging plant with specific knowledge to operate a 25kg FFS pack line as well as operating a bag bagging machine (1.375T) .
- Capacity to handle physically demanding activities (e.g., lifting, carrying of 25KG weight)
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Computer literate
- Willing and able to work shifts
- Highly safety-conscious with strong adherence to procedures
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate and perform field checks on bagging and packaging machinery.
- Follow Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient execution of site logistics activities.
- Monitor process conditions, equipment and control systems to maintain optimal performance.
- Conduct operational tasks on the Master Task List including sampling, equipment preparation, and routine field work.
- Participate in Root Cause Investigations and implement corrective actions where required.
- Support crisis response activities as assigned by the Crisis Response Leader.
- Drive continuous improvement by applying process knowledge and best practices.
- Coach and train fellow team members in bagging operations.
- Participate in and/or lead empowered teams focused on safety, quality and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001).
