Job Purpose:
To manage and maintain the organization's IT assets and support procurement processes, including the creation and tracking of purchase orders. The role ensures accurate inventory, compliance with asset policies, and efficient procurement to support IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Asset Management
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT hardware and software assets.
- Track asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal.
- Ensure compliance with asset management policies and licensing agreements.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of IT assets.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims and repairs.
- Support onboarding/offboarding processes with asset allocation and recovery
2. Procurement & PO Creation
- Create and manage purchase orders for IT equipment and services.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing.
- Ensure timely processing of POs and follow-up on deliveries.
- Collaborate with Finance and Procurement departments to align with budget and compliance requirements.
- Maintain records of procurement transactions and vendor performance.
- Support onboarding/offboarding processes with asset allocation and recovery.
- Document IT procedures and maintain knowledge base articles.
3. Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate in Information Technology, Procurement, IT administration or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT administration, asset management, or procurement.
- Experience with asset management tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems for PO creation
- Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, and licensing.
