Junior Administrative Clerk
We require a Junior Administrative Clerk, working with our buyers, for our Bellville branch.
Successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assist the Buying Team in administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records, managing purchase orders, and updating stock levels.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are processed efficiently and resolve any issues or delays.
- Assist in tracking inventory levels and updating stock systems to ensure accurate product availability.
- Assisting sale staff.
- Input data into internal systems and assist in generating reports related to product performance, inventory, and purchasing trends.
- Ensure all orders are accurately processed, from order confirmation to delivery, and follow up on any discrepancies.
- Communicating with suppliers.
- Assisting corporate customers.
- Provide general support to buyers and other team members with inquiries regarding product details, stock availability, and order status.
Requirements:
- Administration experience in the furniture retail industry
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Clear criminal record
- South African citizen / Permanent South African Resident
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Reside in/or near the area
- Reliable transports (public transport will be accepted, if reliable)
- Must be prepared to work weekends and public holidays
