Looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our back of house team at a popular Steakhouse in Constantia.
Your main responsibilities as the Kitchen Manager will be to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure efficient food preparation and proper cooking techniques, ensure kitchen cleanliness and maintain high food quality standards ensuring recipes are being followed. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, managing kitchen staff, stock control, meat cutting and preparation, delegating cleaning and preparation duties to staff, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment and leading the culinary team to deliver exceptional food.
Applicant must: • Have experience in kitchen similar role. anagement or • Have strong knowledge of Food Quality standards and practices . Have good Knowledge of meat & meat cutting . Have excellent leadership and team management skills • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced, igh-pressure environment • Have strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Be trustworthy and reliable • Have sober habits • Have own transport • Be fluent in English .Be computer literate
