Job Description Digital Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution
- Lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns to drive vendor acquisition, market bookings, and brand visibility.
- Coordinate directly with the CEO to align campaigns with Popping’s marketing goals and to continuously refine the Popping Guerrilla Marketing Manual.
- Develop and maintain an annual and quarterly marketing calendar for platform, market, and seasonal campaigns.
- Collaborate on creative direction and campaign themes, ensuring content reflects the brand voice and market focus.
Platform Marketing & Performance Tracking
- Market the Popping platform through paid and organic digital channels to increase traffic, sign-ups, and platform engagement.
- Monitor and analyze campaign effectiveness using Google Analytics, Hotjar, UTM tracking, and platform dashboards.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports to evaluate return on ad spend (ROAS), cost per acquisition (CPA), conversion rates, and user journey effectiveness.
Email & WhatsApp Marketing
- Manage all email marketing efforts using Mailchimp, Zoho Campaigns, or similar platforms, including list segmentation, campaign automation, and open/click-through performance monitoring.
- Coordinate and oversee WhatsApp campaigns and direct messaging outreach to convert warm leads in the vendor database into bookings.
- Collaborate with the Vendor Sales Manager to align WhatsApp broadcast messaging with sales objectives and timing.
Paid Media Management
- Run, manage, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta Business Suite (Facebook/Instagram Ads) and Google Ads, including:
- Analyze ad performance and run A/B testing to improve audience targeting, creative messaging, and conversion rates.
Content Creation & Brand Messaging
- Collaborate with the CEO to create high-converting marketing content for ads, email, blog, and social media.
- Ensure all campaign content—including headlines, captions, visuals, and videos—is aligned with Popping’s brand identity and marketing manual.
- Source or brief content creation teams for visuals, animations, and videos when needed.
- Supervise the Social Media Manager, providing guidance, approvals, and performance feedback to ensure aligned messaging across platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, with proven success in running multi-channel campaigns.
- Prior experience managing paid campaigns on Meta Ads and Google Ads, with strong understanding of ROAS and CPA metrics.
- Experience in email marketing (Mailchimp, Zoho, or similar), including campaign automation and segmentation.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp marketing tools, direct outreach strategies, and lead conversion tactics.
- Proven ability to work closely with sales teams and contribute to revenue-driving marketing campaigns.
- Strong portfolio or track record showing ability to generate customer acquisition, especially in B2C or marketplace businesses.

Pay: R35 000,00 - R45 000,00 per month
