We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Junior Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our medical schemes and medical insurance, fostering strong client relationships, and exceeding sales targets in the healthcare sector. This is a full-time on-site role located in Durban. Responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, preparing and delivering sales presentations, attending industry events and conferences, and achieving sales targets and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell our range of health insurance options to individuals and businesses.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Educate potential clients on the benefits and features of our medical schemes.
- Collaborate with the sales team to optimize sales efforts and share best practices.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry.
- RE5 qualification is preferable.
- Tertiary education qualification in a relevant field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Afrikaans.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of medical schemes, healthcare products, and industry regulations is a plus.
- Prior experience in sales, customer service or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Computer proficiency.
