What will you do?
The Motor Claims Vehicle Assessor is responsible for conducting on-site assessments and processing of motor vehicle claims.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site motor vehcile Claims Assessment and Reporting
- Attend scheduled site visits to inspect and assess vehicle damage.
- Evaluate the scope of damage, validate the cause of loss, and determine necessary repair or replacement work.
- Take detailed notes, photographs as part of the field report.
- Produce accurate reports and make recommendations on claim settlements in line with policy cover.
Compliance & Documentation
- Submit comprehensive reports, photos, and supporting documentation in a timely manner via the claims system.
Collaboration
- Work closely with internal assessors, claims handlers, and technical teams.
- Escalate complex or high-value claims for peer review or senior input.
- Provide expert guidance or second opinions to the wider claims team where required
Minimum requirments
Qualification:
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4
Experience:
- 1 to 2 years motor claims assessing experience.
- Preferably a qualified panel beater with specialised knowledge of accurately assessing motor vehicle damage.

Turnaround time
