Operations & Growth Lead (Part-Time, Contract) — Just Electric (Cape Town, Hybrid)
We’re a small, fast-moving smart-home tech ecommerce business. We need a senior all-rounder to own cash flow, inventory planning, and team execution so we can scale cleanly into retail while keeping margins tight.
Must-haves: Must have proven correct AI prompting experience, Cape Town hybrid 2–3 days/week Proven cash-flow & inventory ownership
What you’ll do
- Run a rolling 12-week cash-flow model
- Forecast demand by SKU/channel; set safety stock; plan reorders & POs
- Tighten team routines: weekly scorecard, stand-ups, simple SOPs
- Prep us for retail: content packs, SLAs, returns/warranty flow, marketplace hygiene
- Use AI to remove busywork (prompts, dashboards, automations)
What you’ve done
- 5+ years ops in ecommerce/retail (R5–50m turnover), hands-on spreadsheets
- Owned cash flow & inventory planning; coached a small team
- Comfortable with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Sheets/Grok/Zapier/Looker/Genspark)
Nice to have: Takealot/OneDayOnly ops, retail onboarding, basic SQL or Apps Script, import/freight exposure
Offer
- Part-time contract (±2–3 days/week), hybrid CPT
- Includes possible equity share
- Between R6,000 - R8,000 per week (up to 3 days per week)
