Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Programmes Officer to join our Head Office team. The successful candidate will support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of OTOA’s programmes, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong coordination between Head Office and field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and support programme activities across multiple projects and field sites.
· Assist in developing work plans, training materials, and technical guidance for programme staff.
· Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, including tools and databases.
· Coordinate quarterly and annual programme review meetings, ensuring lessons learned are documented and shared.
· Compile, analyse, and report on programme data for donors, partners, and internal use.
· Ensure all programme activities comply with donor contracts, organisational policies, and safeguarding protocols.
· Facilitate communication and collaboration between Head Office, field teams, and external stakeholders.
· Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely submission of programme reports.
· Track programme budgets and ensure compliance with organisational and donor policies.
· Contribute to organisational communications, including newsletters and social media updates.
· Manage programme documentation, filing systems, and archiving in line with data protection guidelines.
Skills & Competencies:
· Strong project coordination and organisational skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
· Team player with problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Public Health, Project Management, or related field.
· 2–3 years’ experience in programme management or coordination, preferably in the NGO sector.
· Experience with community health programmes is an advantage.

· Reports to: Programmes Director
