We are looking for someone to full a regional short term letting supervisor role for us in the Knysna area. The successful candidate would ideally need to have some experience working in short term letting/hospitality with an emphasis on managing housekeeping teams and maintaining the standard of the rooms/units.
The position would involve the applicant partially working remotely and partially working from the building in which the units are going to be based. As a result, you would need to be based in Knysna.
There will be a portfolio of 10 to 15 units in the building that you would have to supervise. The units will involve a combination of short term and potentially long term letting. the long term letting units will be handled in conjunction with our long term letting department. The short term letting units will require you to manage a small cleaning team as well as ensure the up-keep of the units is maintained and stocked with the relevant consumables.
You would also be required to assist in conducting viewings for potential purchasers of units. This would be on an adhoc basis. The building is a new development with a number of units still left to be sold. You would not need to perform the role of an estate agent, but rather a meet and greet/viewing role in this capacity.
The commencement date for the role will be the 22nd or 29th of September 2025.
