Job description
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. You will also be assigned duties as required (i.e. organization of inbound and outbound mail, administrative work, and general clerical support).
Receptionist Duties:
- Answer the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
- Screen calls and take messages.
- Attend to visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Offer visitors/guests a beverage (e.g., cappuccino, tea, espresso, water).
- When serving a hot beverage, include biscuits.
- Ensure the boardroom is clean and tidy before and after meetings.
- Handle general office queries (internet, phone, copy machines) and log calls for any faulty equipment or services.
- Archiving: Keep storage room up to date.
- Stationery Orders: Place orders every month.
- Regularly check printers for paper — every 2 hours if possible.
General Office Duties:
- Assist other departments (Leasing and Maintenance) with admin tasks when required.
- When ordering stationery:
- Ask all departments what they need.
- Review both stationery and groceries every Monday.
Required:

- Professional phone etiquette
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong organisational skills
- Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, email, printing, etc.)
- Friendly and presentable for front desk/reception
- Time management & multitasking ability
- Attention to detail (e.g., coin counting, ordering stock)
