These individuals analyse client needs, develop financial solutions, and offer guidance and support to help clients optimise their financial performance, improve decision-making, and achieve their financial goals.In economics consulting at PwC, you will apply economic principles and analytical techniques to offer advice and guidance to businesses, public agencies, or organisations. Your work involves conducting research, analysing data, and interpreting economic trends to help clients make informed decisions on various aspects such as financial strategies, market dynamics, policy implications, and resource allocation. Working in this area, you will be responsible for providing valuable insights into economic conditions, helping clients navigate challenges, optimise performance, and achieve their goals in a dynamic and ever-changing economic landscape.

Navigating increasingly complex situations, you are growing your personal brand, deepening technical expertise and awareness of your strengths. PwC SATIC is looking for well-rounded individuals with excellent technical, presentation and people skills to join our growing team!
Within this role, you will be leveraging your strategy and analytical experience to:
Support the delivery of strategy projects for public sector clients through research, analysis and structured problem-solving.
Develop and deliver strategic recommendations that address complex public sector challenges, grounded in robust evidence and client engagement.
Conduct desk research, interviews and data analysis to generate insights that inform client decisions.
Help build and test hypotheses to address complex challenges across the public sector.
Contribute to slide decks, reports and other deliverables that communicate findings clearly and effectively.
Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client meetings.
Participate in internal meetings, training, and knowledge sharing to accelerate your development.
Demonstrate curiosity, initiative and a commitment to delivering high-quality work that supports client impact.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, policies, and reforms across the public sector, and reflect these in your advice.
Requirements:
Typically, an undergraduate degree in any field; a master’s degree is desirable.
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a strategy or policy role, ideally gained in the public sector or at another consultancy.
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in strategy frameworks, strategy development and analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proven ability to synthesise complex information.
Excellent organisation and time management capabilities, including the ability to execute tasks independently and see them through to completion.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different audiences and seniority levels.
Ability to work effectively in teams across multiple projects under tight deadlines.
A passion for helping to solve complex problems within the public sector, including curiosity for why public services work the way they do – and how they can be improved
