Main Purpose
This role will be responsible for the development and implementation of integrated communications strategies, brand positioning to key industry stakeholders, crisis communication, public affairs communication, media liaison, as well as driving impactful internal communications.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS & TASKS)
- MAZIV communications strategy development and execution
- Media relations and facilitating media engagements (where required)
- Enhance brand visibility and corporate reputation
- Drive impactful internal and external comms
- Leadership internal and external communications support
- Key stakeholder management to protect and uphold Group brand reputation (Incl. internal stakeholders)
- Leadership in key stakeholder engagements (where applicable)
- Proactive crisis management in collaboration with cross functional team
- Represent company at strategic events + conferences
- HR communication support
- Events management (where applicable)
- Special projects support
- Strategic partnerships
- Brand and reputation research
Competencies and Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications and experience:
- Communications or Corporate Communications Degree or equivale
- 8+ years in a Corporate communications or Senior Management role
- B2B or B2B2C experience
- Excellent writing skills and copy editing
- Leadership in key stakeholder engagements
- Measuring Brand and Communication
- Agency management
