Stock Administrator required in Durbanville, Cape Town.
Are you organised, detail-oriented and confident working with stock systems and large inventory? Our client in Durbanville requires a Stock Administrator to keep records of stock accurate and up to date. Receipting of stock into the ERP system and keeping track of stock movement when exported.
The role requires strong focus and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Gr 12 or similar secondary schooling
- Previous experience in stock control or administration
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in inventory or ERP systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and branch staff
- Reliable transport, and availability to work longer hours are required for operational purposes
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming stock and verify quantities and quality
- Accurately capture stock details into the inventory system
- Create and maintain stock codes for new products
- Monitor stock availability across all branches
- Track and record stock movements between branches
- Assist with resolving stock discrepancies
