Ordering of stock timeously and following up on back orders Unpack and check stock received as per PO's and invoices Investigate missing invoice queries Measure and evaluate stock activity levels for stock and re-ordering purposes Maintain stock at agreed value targets (stock days) Check expiry dates regularly and ensure the timeous return to suppliers and/or write off stock Control of consumable cost of wards and theatres Implement and control systems for stock control Generate replenishment report to wards and ensure replenishments are done and sent to wards/theatres Assist Hospitals stock controller with running of cycle counts and stock takes, capturing and investigating variances Oversee ward issues for accuracy and availability Participate in audits and ensure full traceability of pharmaceutical products Be responsible and accountable for the performance, training and day-to day coordination of the pharmacy stores person May be required to work in the day/night store from time to time Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification Previous experience in stock management Intermediate computer literacy Knowledge and experience of a pharmaceutical stock control system Between 1 - 3 Years
