We’re looking for a Technical Writer who will enable us to build industry disruptive tech products and revolutionize the way our customers use technology.
The Technical Writer is responsible for producing clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that translates complex technical information into accessible content for various audiences. This includes working closely with developers, subject matter experts, and project teams to gather information and create high-quality manuals, guides, standard operating procedures, and training materials. The Technical Writer will also facilitate or deliver training sessions to end-users or internal teams.
You want to:
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and product teams to understand software, systems, and processes.
- Create and maintain user manuals, technical guides, online help files, API documentation, and FAQs.
- Develop training documents, quick reference guides, and e-learning materials as needed.
- Conduct or support training sessions for internal staff or end-users on newly developed tools or processes.
- Edit, proofread, and standardize documentation to ensure consistency and clarity.
- Organize complex information into clear and logical structures.
- Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to improve documentation, diagrams, and training content.
- Maintain document control and version management according to company standards.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with company branding and compliance requirements.
- Ability to create clear and accurate technical diagrams, flowcharts, and process maps to support documentation.
You have
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.
- Experience working with developers or technical project teams.
- Strong ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with documentation tools
- Experience developing and delivering training content is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Relevant degree or certification required (e.g., Technical Writing, IT, Engineering, or related).
- Seasoned experience working in a similar role, gained within a global IT organization.
- Proven knowledge and experience creating documentation for developers, including API documentation, integration guides, and code examples.
