Conduct outbound sales calls to existing and prospective customers
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products
Upsell and cross-sell relevant products to maximize sales opportunities
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
Identify new business opportunities and initiate cold calling where appropriate
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools
Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries professionally
Stay up to date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitors
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12/Matric certificate
A relevant qualification (diploma) in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration is an advantage.
Additional product or industry-specific training (e.g., tools, hardware, or construction supplies) is beneficial.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a telesales or internal sales role, preferably in the tools, hardware, industrial supply, or B2B distribution sectors
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in an outbound sales environment, with exposure to cold calling or new business development
Experience in upselling, cross-selling campaigns
Personal Attributes:
Strong knowledge of sales principles and customer service best practices
Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills
Confident and persuasive over the phone
Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a positive attitude
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
